Job summary

StoryPoint Grove City is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repair duties in a full-time role with 8am-4:30pm shifts and weekend/holiday variability. The role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions, coordinating with multiple departments, and supporting residents with service excellence.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, plus hands-on experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general upkeep.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with related experience or training.
• Proficiency in apartment maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural and appliance repair; drywall repairs and painting experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures; write routine reports.
• Ability to apply common sense to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and solve problems.
• Must have a positive attitude and focus on providing excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Operates various types of tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with team members.
• Identifies and reports broken equipment or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area and adheres to safety regulations.
• Performs preventative maintenance on machinery and building or grounds as required.
• Maintains a positive customer service attitude in interactions with staff and residents.
