Job summary

StoryPoint Grove City is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repair duties on site. This full-time role requires working various shifts, including weekends and holidays, outdoors in different weather conditions, and coordinating with other staff to keep facilities in top condition.

You will handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building repairs, read safety and operation manuals, and contribute to a safe, clean environment for residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or some college credits from a technical school.
• 1+ years of related experience or training.
• Proficient in apartment maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural and appliance repair.
• Experience with drywall repairs and painting is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operates tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with team members.
• Identifies and reports broken equipment or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and equipment per safety regulations.
• Performs preventative maintenance on machinery and building or grounds.
• Maintains a positive customer service attitude in interactions with staff and residents.
