Job summary

StoryPoint Grove City is seeking a Maintenance Technician for full-time hours (8am–4:30pm). You will perform general maintenance and repair duties across our apartment communities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, drywall, and painting.

You must be able to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours in varied weather, collaborate with multiple teams, and deliver excellent resident service while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or technical school credits, or related experience.
• Experience in apartment maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals and write routine reports.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and extended hours in varied weather.

Responsibilities

• Operates tools safely and efficiently.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with team members.
• Identifies and reports broken equipment or uncertain conditions to supervisor.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and safe condition; meets safety regulations.
• Performs preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds as required.
• Maintains a positive customer service attitude in interactions with staff and residents.
