Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of handyman experience in senior living or similar settings and be proficient in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs to keep our properties well-maintained and compliant with safety standards.

You will handle routine maintenance tasks, respond promptly to service requests, and collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality resident

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of maintenance/handyman experience in senior living, multi-apartment, or hotel.
• Experience with HVAC, drywall repair and texturing, carpentry, minor electrical, plumbing, painting, and floor care.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, floor care, and basic repairs.
• Ensure repairs and service orders are completed promptly and safely.
• Maintain equipment and manage maintenance inventories.
• Prepare vacated rooms for new residents and ensure common areas are well maintained.
