Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to uphold the structural integrity of our communities and promptly address maintenance issues. You will troubleshoot and repair building systems, appliances, and facilities, ensuring safety standards are met and resident comfort is maintained.

Qualifications

• At least two years of maintenance or handyman experience in senior living, multi-apartment, or hotel settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, floor care, and appliance repairs.
• Ensure repairs and service orders are completed promptly following safety standards.
• Maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment.
• Repair vacated rooms promptly and prepare for new resident move-in.
• Maintain walls, floor coverings, doors, and woodwork in common areas.
• Monitor and manage maintenance supplies and equipment inventory.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, service logs, and inventory.
• Coordinate with local inspectors and ensure compliance with codes.
