Job summary

Cogir USA is seeking a proactive Maintenance Technician to uphold the structural integrity of our senior living communities. You will perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and floor care, ensuring safety standards and timely completion.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of maintenance experience in senior living or similar settings, strong multitasking, and a customer-service mindset. You’ll collaborate with inspectors and support resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least two years of maintenance or handyman experience in a senior living, multi-apartment, or hotel setting.
• HVAC, drywall repair, carpentry, minor electrical and plumbing experience.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks with good time management.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, floor care, and basic repairs.
• Ensure repairs and service orders are completed promptly and safely.
• Maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment.
• Repair vacated rooms promptly and prepare for new resident move-in.
• Maintain walls, floor coverings, doors, and woodwork in common areas.
• Monitor and manage maintenance supplies and equipment inventory.
• Maintain accuracy of maintenance logs and inventory records.
• Coordinate with fire marshal, inspectors, and local authorities as required.
• Work within local and state codes and regulations.
