Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our senior living communities well-maintained and safe. The role involves routine electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and cosmetic repairs, ensuring timely service in a residential setting.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in maintenance, strong knowledge across systems, and a customer-service mindset. This on-site position offers training, growth opportunities, and a supportive team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Professional maintenance-related certifications are a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, floor care, and appliance repairs.
• Ensure repairs are completed promptly and safely per standards.
• Maintain equipment and supply inventory; document work performed.
• Repair vacated rooms and prepare for new residents.
• Keep common area walls, floors, doors, and woodwork in good condition.
• Maintain records of maintenance work and logs.
• Coordinate with local authorities (fire marshal, inspectors) as required.
• Adhere to local/state codes and safety regulations.
