Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the structural integrity of our senior living communities and address maintenance issues promptly and safely. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems, equipment, and appliances while delivering exceptional service to residents and staff.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of maintenance experience in senior living or related settings, with a proactive, detail-oriented approach and a customer-focused

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Maintenance certifications are a plus but not required.
• 2+ years of maintenance or handyman experience, preferably in senior living, multi-apartment, or hotel settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, floor care, basic repairs.
• Ensure repairs and service orders are completed promptly per safety standards.
• Maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment.
• Repair vacated rooms and prepare for new residents.
• Maintain walls, floors, doors, and woodwork in common areas.
