Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; professional certifications are a plus but not required.
• Minimum 2 years maintenance or handyman experience in senior living, multi-apartment, or hotel settings.
• Comfortable using cleaning chemicals, tools and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, floor care, and basic appliance repairs.
• Complete repairs promptly and per safety standards.
• Maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment.
• Repair vacated rooms and prepare for new resident move-in.
• Maintain walls, floors, doors, and woodwork in common areas.
• Maintain maintenance supplies and inventory.
• Keep accurate service logs and inventory records.
