Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the building in top condition and promptly address issues while following safety standards.

You will troubleshoot and repair systems, appliances, and equipment, with a focus on resident comfort and safety. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, wiring, and related trades, in senior living or similar settings.

Qualifications

• At least two years of maintenance or handyman experience in a senior living, multi-apartment, or hotel setting.
• Broad maintenance skillset including HVAC, drywall, carpentry, minor electrical, plumbing, painting, floor care.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, floor care, and appliance repairs.
• Ensure repairs and service orders are completed promptly following safety standards.
• Maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment.
• Repair vacated rooms and prepare for new residents.
• Maintain common areas and woodwork; monitor inventories.
• Keep records of maintenance work and logs.
• Communicate with local authorities and comply with codes.
• Work within the local and state regulations.
