Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee building systems and respond to maintenance requests in a timely, safety‑conscious manner. Qualifications

• Two (2) years of maintenance or handyman experience in a senior living, multi‑apartment, or hotel setting.
• General maintenance skills include HVAC, drywall repair/texturing, carpentry, minor electrical, plumbing, painting, floor care, and landscaping.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with good time management and organization.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a customer service mindset.
• Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals, tools, and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting and floor care.
• Ensure repairs and service orders are completed promptly and safely.
• Maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment.
• Repair vacated rooms and prepare for new residents.
• Maintain common areas, walls, floors, doors, and woodwork in good condition.
• Monitor maintenance supplies and inventory.
• Keep accurate service logs and records of maintenance work.
