Oakmont Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to manage the upkeep of the community, including common areas and resident units. The role requires basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC skills and a focus on delivering safe, comfortable living spaces for residents.

The position includes building maintenance, painting, and turnover tasks, with opportunities for career growth within a growing senior-living operator.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in building maintenance, upkeep, or related field preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests.

Responsibilities

• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Assist with apartment turnovers – painting, carpet cleaning, pressure washing.
• Maintain grounds including pool and spa.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
