Job summary

Wallick Communities is seeking a Maintenance Director for The Ashford of Berkshire in Sunbury, OH. The role oversees day-to-day maintenance and the community’s physical environment to ensure a safe, comfortable living space for residents.

We require 1+ years of supervisory experience and 2+ years of maintenance background, preferably in senior living, plus strong customer service skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a supervisory role
• 2+ years of maintenance experience, ideally in a Senior Living setting
• You can provide great customer service
• You should be proficient using Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Complete building work orders and service request per Wallick policy and procedures.
• Paint and assist with the upkeep of the grounds including landscaping.
• Assign and supervise the day-to-day functions of maintenance assistant and interpret department policies and procedures.
• Interface with resident and resident families regarding maintenance problems and any other information as requested.
• Conduct daily inspections of assigned work areas to assure cleanliness and sanitary conditions are maintained.
• Coordinate the maintenance portion of rehabbing the units.
• Maintain maintenance equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
