Job summary

Cogir Senior Living seeks a Maintenance Director to manage daily physical plant operations across a senior living community. You’ll ensure safety, supervise maintenance and housekeeping staff, and coordinate fixes and preventive maintenance.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 3+ years in maintenance management with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry experience. On-call duties and a valid driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years managing apartments or large maintenance operations.
• 1–2 years supervisory/management experience preferred.
• HVAC, electrical, drywall, carpentry, plumbing, painting experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day physical plant operations and safety compliance.
• Schedule, prioritize, and complete service requests and repairs on time.
• Hire, train, and manage Maintenance Technicians and housekeeping staff.
• Coordinate bids, budgets, and procurement of supplies and services.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure regulatory compliance.
