Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Potomac, MD seeks a Community Relations Director (Sales and Marketing Director) to manage outreach, exceed occupancy goals, and drive revenue through strategic planning and referral relationships.

You will conduct tours, collaborate with regional sales, develop annual marketing plans, and lead the sales team while maintaining tenants and families satisfaction. Proficiency with Yardi CRM and budgeting is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years in relational sales, preferably in senior living or related care settings.
• Strong team orientation and passion for serving seniors.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals.
• Ability to manage time, show initiative and exercise good judgment.
• Willingness to work evenings/weekends if needed.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and ethics in a team setting.
• Proficient with CRM and standard Microsoft Office tools.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement all sales and marketing strategies for the community.
• Design and drive the annual marketing plan with leadership input.
• Build and manage lead base; respond to inquiries in real time.
• Maintain occupancy and revenue according to plans.
• Conduct walk-in and scheduled tours for prospective residents.
• Provide sales activity reports with lead status and next steps.
• Follow up with leads, referral sources, and interested parties.
• Maintain Yardi CRM accurately and promptly.
• Supervise and motivate the sales team.
• Foster resident satisfaction through strong relationships with residents and staff.
• Understand care regulations to ensure proper placement and education for prospects.
• Represent the community at outreach events and trade shows.
• Monitor promotional inventory and assess ad/print/social media needs.
• Manage social media accounts and marketing budget.
