Job summary

The Phoenix at Lake Lanier is seeking an Executive Director to lead hands-on operations at the community level, owning profit and loss, financial performance, staff leadership, and resident/family satisfaction. The role includes ownership of the Sales & Marketing process to maximize revenue and market position.

Reporting to the Director of Operations and/or COO, the Executive Director will ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, safety procedures, and reporting requirements

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Administration, Gerontology or related to elderly care.
• 2–5 years in General Manager/Administrator role preferred, or 5–10 years in Senior Living/Hospitality with 5 years in management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial performance and budget adherence across the community.
• Lead sales and marketing to maximize revenue and occupancy.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and safety requirements (OSHA, PPE, drills).
• Manage staff performance and resident/family satisfaction.
• Coordinate with Director of Operations/COO and department heads on operational priorities.
