Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living seeks an Executive Director to lead community operations, drive occupancy, revenue and regulatory compliance while delivering exceptional resident and family experiences.

You will manage P&L, budgeting, labor and expenses, recruit and develop leadership, and partner with Sales to maximize move-ins. A passion for serving seniors and strong leadership are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Executive leadership experience in a senior living or healthcare setting is required.
• Proven track record in driving occupancy, revenue and operational performance.
• Strong budgeting and P&L management skills.
• Ability to lead diverse teams and manage performance.
• Sales and customer relationship experience preferred.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills.
• Passion for serving seniors and leading high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall community operations including care, sales, financial performance and compliance.
• Drive occupancy growth, revenue strategy and market positioning.
• Manage P&L, budgeting, labor and expense control to meet financial goals.
• Recruit, hire, coach and develop high-performing leadership and team members.
• Deliver exceptional resident and family experience through service excellence.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety/quality standards.
• Partner with Sales to advance leads and maximize move-ins.
• Build relationships with residents, families and local referral sources.
