Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living, LLC is seeking an Executive Director in Richmond, Virginia to lead all community operations, drive occupancy and financial performance, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering an exceptional resident and family experience.

You will recruit, hire, and develop leaders; manage P&L, budgeting, labor, and expenses; partner with Sales to grow move-ins; and build strong relationships with residents, families, and local referral sources.

Qualifications

• Executive Director/Administrator/General Manager experience required.
• Experience driving occupancy, revenue and operational performance.
• Strong P&L and budgeting skills.
• Experience leading teams and managing performance.
• Sales and customer relationship experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall community operations including care, sales, financial performance and compliance.
• Drive occupancy growth, revenue strategy and market positioning.
• Manage P&L, budgeting, labor and expense control to meet financial goals.
• Recruit, hire, coach and develop high-performing leadership and team members.
• Deliver exceptional resident and family experience through service excellence.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety and quality standards.
• Partner with Sales to advance leads and maximize move-ins.
