Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an Executive Director in Richmond, VA to lead all community operations, drive financial performance and ensure an exceptional resident and family experience. You will oversee care, sales, budgeting, and compliance while building a high-performing team and strong relationships with residents, families, and referral sources.

The role requires prior Executive Director or General Manager experience, strong P&L and budgeting skills, and a passion for serving seniors.

Qualifications

• Prior Executive Director, Administrator or General Manager experience.
• Proven success driving occupancy, revenue and operational performance.
• Strong P&L, budgeting and business management skills.
• Experience leading teams and managing performance.
• Sales and customer relationship experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills.
• Passion for serving seniors and leading high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall community operations, including care, sales, financial performance and compliance.
• Drive occupancy growth, revenue strategy and market positioning.
• Manage P&L, budgeting, labor and expense control to meet financial goals.
• Recruit, hire, coach and develop high-performing leadership and team members.
• Deliver exceptional resident and family experience through service excellence.
• Ensure regulatory, safety and quality standards are met.
• Partner with Sales to advance leads and maximize move-ins.
