Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Sunnyvale, CA seeks an Executive Director to lead community operations, drive resident well-being and financial performance. You will oversee care, sales, budgeting and compliance, and build a high-performing team dedicated to delivering an exceptional resident and family experience.

Expect to steer occupancy growth, define revenue strategy, manage P&L and partner with sales to maximize move-ins. Strong leadership and a passion for seniors are required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Executive Director, Administrator, or General Manager.
• Proven success driving occupancy, revenue and operational performance.
• Strong P&L, budgeting and business management skills.
• Experience leading teams and managing performance.
• Sales and customer relationship experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills.
• Passion for serving seniors and leading high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall community operations including care, sales, financial performance and compliance
• Drive occupancy growth, revenue strategy and market positioning
• Manage P&L, budgeting, labor and expense control to meet financial goals
• Recruit, hire, coach and develop high-performing leadership and team members
• Deliver exceptional resident and family experience through service excellence
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety and quality standards
• Partner with Sales to advance leads and maximize move-ins
• Build strong relationships with residents, families and local referral sources
• Lead team engagement, culture and performance management
