Commonwealth Senior Living in Hampton, VA seeks an Executive Director responsible for the overall operations, resident well-being, and implementation of the community’s programs and policies. The role oversees marketing, staffing, and ensuring regulatory compliance while achieving occupancy and quality care goals.

Qualifications

• Meets all current requirements of the State Department of Social Services Standards and Regulations for Licensed Assisted Living Facilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Warm, outgoing, and compassionate personality.
• Understanding of State Department of Social Services Standards and Regulations.
• Acceptable driving record (required driver).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the general well-being and health of residents in the community.
• Coordinate care and services to residents, including oversight of nursing and care staff.
• Model the organization’s core values in interactions with staff, residents, and families.
• Ensure appropriate staffing to meet resident needs.
• Lead and coach staff to deliver high-quality services and programs.
• Oversee regulatory compliance and documentation as required by state agencies.
• Lead direct marketing and recruitment activities for residents and staff.
• Act as the responsible party during licensing inspections.
