Job summary

Commonwealth Senior Living at South Boston is seeking an Executive Director to oversee the community’s programs, policies, and business plan execution. You will lead marketing efforts to maintain occupancy and ensure resident satisfaction, while coordinating care services and supervising staff.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a solid understanding of state regulations. You will hire, train and schedule staff, promote core values, and ensure compliant operations

Qualifications

• Two years’ post-secondary education required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a supervisory role in senior housing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Warm, outgoing, and compassionate personality.
• Integrity, maturity and leadership skills.
• Understanding of State Department of Social Services Standards and Regulations
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, direction and implementation of programs and policies for the community.
• Ensure efficient administration and execution of the business plan.
• Lead marketing and public relations to achieve occupancy goals and manage admissions.
• Coordinate resident services and supervise nursing and care staff.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and corporate policies.
• Hire, train and schedule staff; manage performance and accountability.
• Drive community sales culture and actively coach top performers.
