Job summary

EverTrue is seeking a Dining Service Associate to perform a variety of dining service tasks and maintain clean, sanitary dining areas for residents. The role includes setup for dining rooms and catered events, serving meals, assisting with cleanup, and strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols.

The position may involve occasional food preparation assistance and requires ability to read recipes, follow diet orders, and work collaboratively with staff and residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in dining service preferred.
• Ability to read and follow recipes, diet orders, and resident cards.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks with interruptions.
• Must be patient with staff, residents, and family members.

Responsibilities

• Perform defined dining service routines using utensils, supplies and equipment.
• Assist with dining room setup and catered events, including beverages and salads.
• Assist with dining room setup, stocking buffets, and serving residents.
• Assist with cleaning duties such as bussing, cleaning, washing dishes and waste disposal.
• Receive and store food and supplies.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards or incidents.
• Maintain HACCP logs and documentation of product usage and temperatures.
