Job summary

The Lakes at Litchfield is seeking a Dining Room Manager to supervise servers and oversee dining room operations across the campus, ensuring high standards of service for residents, families, and guests.

You will lead front-of-house staffing, maintain cleanliness, coordinate with the Director of Dining Services, and uphold privacy and safety standards while delivering warm, professional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ServSafe certification within last two years.
• Two years' experience in a similar dining/FOH role preferred.
• Strong leadership and confidentiality in food service work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front-of-house team, including recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling and daily activities.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness, setup of service areas, and proper etiquette.
• Ensure compliance with sanitary guidelines and HIPAA-related confidentiality.
• Greet diners, take and deliver orders, and provide friendly, professional service.
• Coordinate with Dining Services Director on paperwork, orders and reports in a timely manner.
• Monitor equipment and facilities for safety and quality of service.
