Job summary

The Lakes at Litchfield is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead housekeeping, laundry and floor services across the campus. This working manager role requires coordinating staff under the Director of Facility Services and maintaining high cleanliness standards in a retirement community setting.

Ideal candidates have prior janitorial or maintenance experience, and are able to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical janitorial certification desired.
• Two years’ experience in a similar housekeeping position preferred.
• Janitorial or maintenance experience required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must handle information with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Direct housekeeping, laundry and floor services campus-wide.
• Schedule and coordinate staff under the Director of Facility Services.
• Maintain HIPAA standards and confidentiality for residents and employees.
• Order cleaning supplies and manage department equipment.
• Lead group cleaning projects and coordinate with outside vendors.
• Support safety and well-being of residents and employees.
