Job summary

Leisure Living Senior Communities is seeking an experienced dining services leader to manage overall community dining operations and elevate resident experience.

You will lead by example in customer service, employee relations, and quality assurance while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. This role emphasizes staff training, regulatory adherence, and teamwork across departments to deliver superior meals and service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; culinary coursework preferred or 3 years cooking experience.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office in Windows; able to learn company software.
• Current Serv-Safe Manager Certification or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan nutritionally balanced menus based on regional templates and resident preferences.
• Oversee dining room service, including setup, service and cleanup with high hospitality standards.
• Train dining staff and conduct performance evaluations; coach and discipline as needed.
• Ensure regulatory requirements are met and maintain sanitation schedules for kitchen and dining areas.
• Prepare work schedules and ensure adequate staffing within labor budget.
