Job summary

Cedarhurst Living is seeking a Cook to join our dining services team in the Frankfort community. You will prepare high-quality, nutritious meals, portion and serve according to menus, and accommodate dietary needs while maintaining food safety standards.

The role supports residents' health and wellbeing, collaborates with the Dining Services Director and staff, and participates in training new kitchen teammates.

Qualifications

• The candidate will maintain sanitation and food safety practices.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and menus.
• Licensure requirements must be met per state/county guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proper portions and serve foods per menu and recipes.
• Taste and assess food quality.
• Prepare special dietary items as directed by the Director.
• Coordinate meal production with serving hours and inventory.
• Assist with training of new kitchen staff.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
