Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living LLC in Centerville is seeking a qualified Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards. You will follow Benchmark policies and report to the Food Services Director for quality assurance.

The role offers stable hours and a chance to make a meaningful difference in residents’ daily lives. Previous dietary experience and culinary training are valued in this collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Culinary Arts training preferred.
• 2 years of dietary experience.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures, laws, regulations pertaining to food service operations.

Responsibilities

• Assures all dietary procedures are followed.
• Operate all kitchen equipment safely and effectively (meat slicer, food processor, mixers, ovens, grills, steamers, dishwasher, dumb waiter, warmer cabinets).
• Establish food production line to ensure meals are prepared on time.
• Represent the community with a positive attitude to residents and families.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals with high-quality presentation.
