Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a Concierge to welcome residents, families, and visitors with exceptional service and to support daily operations at the community level.

The role involves front desk duties, clerical support to the Executive Director and Business Office, and assisting Sales & Marketing with inquiries while coordinating transportation and event reservations for residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic HR/EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Welcome residents, families, and guests and provide exceptional service.
• Monitor entry/exit points and sign in visitors.
• Regularly engage with residents to help them feel valued and cared for.
• Receive and distribute mail and packages.
• Manage external and internal calls and relay messages.
• Assist the Executive Director/Business Office with clerical duties and Sales & Marketing inquiries.
• Assist residents with scheduling transportation and event reservations.
• Manage guest meal sales and process credit card transactions when needed.
• Submit work orders to Maintenance on behalf of residents.
• Monitor emergency response systems and fire alarms.
• Ensure effective communication with residents' families about wellbeing.
• Collaborate with staff and participate in team activities; take initiative when needed.
