Job summary

Cedarhurst Living in Lawrence, KS seeks a PRN Concierge to greet residents and guests, manage front desk operations, coordinate transportation and events, and provide clerical support to leadership and teams. The role emphasizes warm, attentive service within our senior living community.

The Concierge supports daily operations, monitors safety protocols, and helps create a welcoming environment for residents and families, while working flexible hours between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in senior living, healthcare or hospitality.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and common digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Welcome residents, visitors, and guests with exceptional service.
• Monitor entry/exit points and sign in guests and residents.
• Receive and distribute mail and packages.
• Handle external and internal calls and forward messages as needed.
• Assist with clerical duties and Sales & Marketing inquiries as needed.
• Assist residents with scheduling transportation and event reservations.
• Submit work orders to Maintenance on behalf of residents.
