Simpson House in Philadelphia, PA 19131 is seeking a Concierge to join our Senior Living community. You will deliver exceptional customer service at the front desk, assist residents and families, and coordinate requests to create a welcoming environment daily.

Responsibilities include scheduling, transportation, event support, and collaboration with care teams to ensure safety and satisfaction. This part-time role requires empathy, reliability, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a diverse group.
• Empathy, patience, and a compassionate attitude towards the needs of seniors.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
• Proficient in using computer systems and software for managing administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk Operations: serve as the primary point of contact at the front desk, welcoming residents, families, and visitors.
• Resident Support: assist residents with scheduling appointments, reservations, transportation, and maintenance issues.
• Visitor Management: greet and assist visitors, provide directions, and enforce visitor policies.
• Event Planning: assist in organizing social gatherings and special events for residents.
• Administrative Tasks: manage mail, logs, and data entry; handle deliveries and document filing.
• Safety and Security: monitor safety hazards and follow emergency procedures.
• Communication: maintain clear communication with residents, families, staff, and external contacts.
• Customer Service Excellence: maintain professionalism, empathy, and respect in all interactions.
• Resource Knowledge: stay updated on services, amenities, and local resources.
• Team Collaboration: work with caregivers, nurses, activities coordinators, and admin staff to ensure smooth operations.
