Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator to manage resident services in line with company policies and regulations. The role reports to the Executive Director and oversees adherence to safety, care standards, and regulatory compliance.

You will oversee admissions, monitor regulatory compliance, coordinate with families and physicians, and supervise staff orientation and competency to ensure quality care for residents.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license (LPN or RN) and in good standing with the state.
• Must have a valid CPR certification.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to work beyond normal hours including weekends/holidays.
• Must be able to assist in resident evacuation during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the Community’s policies and procedures.
• Report abuse/neglect to the Executive Director promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and family information.
• Review and supervise compliance with patient care policies and regulations.
• Monitor staff compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Assist residents with admission and ensure regulatory requirements are met.
• Participate in staff selection, orientation, and competency monitoring.
