Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking an Activity Assistant for Ivy Park at Monterey, a premier senior living community in California. The role supports organizing, promoting, and directing activities and excursions to enhance residents' independence and quality of life.

The position is part-time, 9:00am–5:30pm, Fridays and Saturdays, with a pay range of $17.50–$18.50 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, meal perks, 401(k) match, and more.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer 1 year coordinating/teaching activities with seniors.
• Driver's license with Passenger Endorsement preferred (Class C/B).
• Proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint).
• Criminal background check and health screenings required (TB test).

Responsibilities

• Assist Activity Director in providing a rewarding social atmosphere and promote resident participation.
• Develop, recruit, manage and schedule Community Volunteers as needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, coworkers and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Able to drive Community vehicles.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
