Job summary

Ivy Park at Monterey, operated by Oakmont Management Group, is seeking an Activity Assistant to support residents through engaging events and excursions. You will help plan activities, recruit volunteers, and foster a vibrant community life with safety and care at the forefront.

Requirements include 18 years of age, a high school diploma, MS Office proficiency, and a valid driver’s license for community vehicle use. Weekend availability is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer 1 year of experience coordinating activities with seniors.
• Current driver's license (Class C); Passenger Endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Activity Director in creating a socially engaging atmosphere and promoting resident participation.
• Develop, recruit, manage and schedule Community Volunteers when needed.
• Communicate with residents, families, visitors, staff, and supervisors with tact and friendliness.
• Maintain a safe environment by following established safety standards.
