Job summary

Ivy Park at Santa Monica, a premier senior living community managed by Oakmont Management Group, is hosting a Job Fair for an Activity Assistant. The role focuses on organizing and directing activities and excursions to enhance residents' independence and quality of life. Fridays and Saturdays, 9 a.m.

- 5 p.m., pay $18.50–$20.00 per hour with comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities include supporting the Activity Director, recruiting volunteers, and ensuring a safe, engaging social atmosphere

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer 1 year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Current Class C license; Class B license with Passenger Endorsement preferred.
• Able to operate a PC and MS Office programs.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests.

Responsibilities

• Assist Activity Director in providing a rewarding social atmosphere and promote resident participation.
• Develop, recruit, manage and schedule Community Volunteers as requested.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, co-workers, and supervisors.
