Oakmont Management Group, based in Irvine, CA, operates Ivy Park at Santa Monica and is seeking an Activity Assistant to organize, schedule, promote, and direct community activities to enhance residents' independence and quality of life.

This part-time role runs Fridays and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a pay range of $18.50 to $20.00 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vacation, and more.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Able to drive community vehicles and operate a PC with MS Office.
• Must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in providing a rewarding social atmosphere and promote resident participation.
• Develop, recruit, manage and schedule Community Volunteers as requested.
• Communicate effectively and maintain a safe environment for staff and residents.
• Encourage teamwork and collaboration with other departments.
