• Effective communication with all levels of management, associates, residents, family members, and outside contacts.
• Background in art, music, drama, or occupational therapy preferred.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s Dementia preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assist the DLE with planning, coordinating and running all community activities.
• Assist with planning the monthly activities calendar and monthly newsletter (if necessary).
• Encourage residents to participate in community activities and support their independence.
• Help with ordering supplies and equipment for regular activities.
• May attend off-site outings and ensure residents are safe and engaged.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the DLE and maintain Participation Tracking Chart.
• Assist in the success of the community Parallel Programming schedule.
• Ensure Resident Rights to Privacy are respected during interactions.
