PACS is seeking an Activities Assistant to support the Activities Director in developing engaging, resident-centered programs that promote physical, mental, and social well-being. The role involves planning activities, coordinating calendars, and facilitating group and individual engagements.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and a compassionate, creative approach to involving residents in meaningful activities.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Creative, patient, dependable, and enthusiastic approach to resident engagement.
• Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and conducting activities for residents.
• Help develop and maintain monthly activity calendar including events and outings.
• Encourage participation in recreational and social activities based on individual interests.
• Provide activities for bedbound or isolated residents and track attendance and progress.
