Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Littleton, MA is seeking an Activities Assistant to support the Director of Activities by planning, organizing, and directing quality programs that meet the recreational, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social needs of patients.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with geriatrics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, and evaluate quality activity programs (entertainment, exercise, relaxation, education).
• Chart patient progress and behavior descriptively.
• Escort patients to and from activities.
• Make regular in-room visits to patients uninterested or unable to participate in group activities.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information.
