Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an Activities Assistant to support the Director of Activities in planning, organizing, and directing quality activities for patients across recreational, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social needs. This role ensures compliance with laws and Life Care standards in delivering engaging programs.

The ideal candidate will be a high school graduate, preferably with geriatrics experience, and possess a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Prior geriatrics experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and evaluating quality activity programs.
• Chart patient progress and behavior.
• Escort patients to and from activities.
• Make regular in-room visits to engage patients.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
