Life Care Centers of America is seeking an Activities Assistant to support the Director of Activities in planning and directing recreation and therapeutic programs for patients. You will help ensure residents’ physical, social, intellectual, and spiritual needs are met in a compliant, compassionate environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license. Prior geriatrics experience is preferred, and you will work as part of an interdisciplinary team within

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience working with older adults preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable DMV record.
• Ability to follow policies and comply with regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating quality activity programs (includes entertainment, exercise, relaxation, and education).
• Chart patient progress and behavior in a descriptive and accurate manner.
• Escort patients to and from activities.
• Make regular in-room visits to patients uninterested or unable to participate in group activities.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward patients.
• Demonstrate dependability with regular attendance.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient needs.
