Job summary

Cogir Senior Living seeks an energetic Resident Lifestyle Director to plan and oversee enriching activities for residents, coordinating events and managing staff to deliver engaging programs.

The role requires a strong mix of creativity, empathy, and organizational skill, with leadership experience in senior living or healthcare management preferred. Strong Excel/Word/Canva proficiency is valued, along with excellent communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School degree is required; associate or higher preferred in gerontology, business, human services, or related field.
• Experience designing and leading life-enrichment activities for seniors in IL/AL/MC settings required.
• Leadership experience in senior living or healthcare management preferred; dementia care exposure a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee life-enrichment activities, outings, and programs aligned with residents' needs.
• Create and lead arts, crafts, music, drama, educational, and exercise activities.
• Prepare a monthly activity calendar and newsletter; lead activity meetings.
• Hire, train, and supervise Resident Lifestyle Assistants, Coordinators, and Drivers.
• Recruit and supervise volunteers; encourage resident participation and celebrate achievements.
• Coordinate equipment, supplies, and storage; assist with planning marketing events.
