Job summary

Dial Silvercrest Corp in Deer Park, IL seeks a Lifestyle Assistant to create vibrant resident experiences across physical, social, recreational, and educational activities. You will plan and lead group activities, coordinate outings, and document engagement to observe trends.

You’ll support residents with mobility, decorate for events, and assist with transportation as needed, while promoting teamwork and confidentiality. Sunday–Thursday 8:00am–4:30pm. Comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to assist residents with mobility and stand for extended periods.
• Promote teamwork in providing services to residents.
• Demonstrated organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, implementing, and leading activities across physical, social, recreational, intellectual/educational, creative, entertainment, religious, and service/volunteering categories.
• Lead group activities and foster resident participation and positive relationships.
• Document daily resident engagement in LifeLoop and track trends.
• Coordinate community outings, events, and celebrations; act as chaperone as needed.
• Get to know residents and tailor activities to their interests.
• Decorate the facility for events, seasons, and holidays.
• Invite residents to participate and assist them to activities.
• Support social media content creation and posting for the community.
• Drive the company vehicle for activities and appointments as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance resident experiences.
• Identify and requisition supplies for planned activities.
• Report injuries to supervisor before end of shift.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and community information.
• Other duties as assigned.
