Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group seeks a Sr. Litigation Specialist to handle complex auto and homeowners litigations in a remote, nationwide capacity. The role requires directing defense strategies, negotiating settlements, and managing outside counsel budgets to achieve fair, timely resolutions while controlling costs.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in business/insurance/risk management, experience with insurance claims, and strong written/oral communication skills. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance or risk management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• High School diploma required.
• A proven experience handling insurance claims.
• Prior Senior Casualty experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complex litigated auto and homeowners claims and manage defense strategy.
• Direct defense counsel, evaluate settlements, and negotiate resolutions.
• Authorize budget and monitor outside counsel costs.
• Present case recommendations to management.
• Coordinate discovery plans and expert retention.
