Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group seeks a Senior Litigation Specialist to own complex auto and homeowners litigated claims. You’ll direct defense strategy, evaluate settlements, and manage costs while negotiating with counsel to secure fair, timely outcomes.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, or risk management, or equivalent experience, with prior casualty claims experience preferred. Remote work across the United States is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance or risk management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• High School diploma required.
• A proven experience handling insurance claims.
• Prior Senior Casualty experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze claims and loss facts; create discovery plans including depositions, experts, IMEs and accident reconstruction for first/third-party claims.
• Directly coordinate with defense counsel, provide resolution authority, and balance defense costs with indemnity exposure.
• Review liability, damages, and risk; collaborate on settlement strategy; participate in mediations and conferences.
• Budget outside counsel and monitor defense expenses with bill-review tools.
• Present litigated-case recommendations to local and senior management up to IELT level.
