Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group in the United States is seeking a Sr. Litigation Specialist to lead complex auto and homeowners claims from a remote location. You will steer strategy, direct defense counsel, and drive negotiations to resolve claims efficiently.

You will also manage costs, secure authority for settlements, and collaborate with executive leadership to present litigated case recommendations. Travel may be required for enterprise meetings and mediations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance or risk management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• High School diploma required.
• A proven experience handling insurance claims.
• Prior Senior Casualty experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complex litigated claims involving auto and homeowners matters.
• Shape claim strategy by directing defense counsel and evaluating settlements.
• Establish settlement authority and participate in negotiations to achieve fair, timely resolutions.
• Review liability, damages, and risk to assess independent settlements.
• Collaborate with defense counsel to identify negotiation strategies and represent the organization in mediations.
• Monitor budget for outside counsel and analyze defense expenses.
