Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal for its in‑house government legal team in a fast‑paced environment in Detroit. You will support eDiscovery, workflow management, and attorney needs across the litigation portfolio.

Responsibilities include preparing complex documents, managing discovery databases, filing with CM/ECF, and coordinating with the victim/witness team. Requires paralegal cert/JD and 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience.

Qualifications

• Requires paralegal certificate, or JD, or currently attending an ABA-accredited law school, having completed at least one year of study
• Proficient with federal and state court systems and legal research resources
• Experience with automated litigation support and document management systems

Responsibilities

• Prepares complex legal documents and memoranda for litigation
• Reviews and organizes incoming documents for cases
• Performs eDiscovery tasks and manages discovery databases
• Files documents electronically in CM/ECF and maintains case files
• Organizes trial exhibits, witness lists, and jury instructions
• Coordinates with attorneys and victims/witness specialists as needed
• Researches citations for accuracy using Westlaw or Lexis
