Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to join its fast-moving in-house government legal team. The role supports eDiscovery, workflow management, and attorney assistance across a dynamic litigation portfolio.

Responsibilities include drafting complex legal documents, trial preparation, discovery management, and legal research using Westlaw/LEXIS. Ideal candidates have paralegal credentials and 2+ years of litigation experience.

Qualifications

• Requires paralegal certificate, or JD, or currently attending ABA-accredited law school, having completed at least one year of study.
• At least two years of litigation paralegal experience; trial experience helpful.
• Minimum one year in automated litigation support with knowledge of federal/state court systems.
• Excellent written and oral communication; proficient in LEXIS and Westlaw.
• Hands-on with word processing, databases, spreadsheets, imaging and hardware; familiarity with ESI tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of complex technical legal documents.
• Review incoming documents and case status; ensure compliance with rules.
• Assist in trial preparation with notebooks, exhibits, and jury instructions.
• Manage discovery databases and upload/download materials from law enforcement partners.
• Bates-stamp and redact discovery; use IPRO Eclipse if needed.
• File legal documents electronically using CM/ECF.
• Maintain case files, enter data in case management system, calendar deadlines.
