Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Senior Litigation Claim Representative in the United States. You will handle complex, high-exposure claims and apply your expertise in investigation, coverage evaluation, and settlement negotiations to resolve cases timely and cost-effectively.

You will be a technical resource for customers, field teams, and business partners, guiding junior staff and maintaining robust claim documentation in accordance with policy language and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; high school diploma acceptable with experience.
• Seven years of insurance claims experience, preferably commercial transportation.
• Strong analytical and negotiation abilities with customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload of complex or technical Northland transportation claims.
• Conduct detailed inspections and interviews to gather information and assess claim validity.
• Analyze policy language, endorsements, and exclusions to make informed decisions.
• Maintain thorough claim documentation and comply with internal/pro regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams, legal counsel, etc.
• Handle customer escalations and complex inquiries with professionalism.
• Provide guidance to Claim Reps and Trainees to share knowledge.
