Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Linux Systems Engineer to join our Infrastructure Engineering team in California. You will design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade Linux environments across RPM-based distributions, optimized for high-throughput EDA workloads.

You will drive automation and build tooling to support a highly available, scalable infrastructure. You will work on configuring and securing Linux systems, automating end-to-end workflows with IaC, and building scalable container

Qualifications

• 8+ years of deep systems engineering experience with RPM-based Linux distributions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and multi-tier infrastructure configurations.
• Experience with virtualization and container internals (Docker, Kubernetes, Podman).

Responsibilities

• Maintain, tune, and secure mission-critical Linux operating systems across production and non-production environments.
• Lead infrastructure configuration management and CI/CD workflows using IaC tools like Ansible and Terraform.
• Write code in Python, Bash, or Go to automate tasks and build tooling.
• Manage Linux naming services (LDAP/SSSD) and high-performance storage environments to support workloads.
